We partnered with The World Literacy Foundation. The WLF is an organisation who is just like us – striving to ensure that every young individual regardless of geographical location has the opportunity to acquire literacy and reading skills to reach their full potential  success at school and beyond.

We would like to bring BOOKS back to fashion! Let’s face it. It is very hard to compete with the interactive internet, games and gadgets available. With one click you get colours, movement and action. This extrovert and dependent behaviour is pretty much the absolute opposite of reading books. When Reading a book, you are pulled back to the 20th century where you had to go and get the fun, fiction or knowledge by sitting and focusing on letters. You had to make the story happen if you had intelligence and imagination. This is hard work and takes purpose and interest as well as diligence. So yes, we need to encourage reading and literacy in any ways we can so this tech-age generation will taste and come to have the love for books.

We are lucky to be able to TEACH what we PREACH as we include as much as possible in our curriculum, and are ambassadors for the World Literacy Foundation. We also have amazing partners such as the amazing Nigerian author and poet Salamatu Sule and many others. Ms Salamatu does Teen Book Clubs and book reviews sponsored by ADAMSPAGES book store. We are overjoyed by the interest of some scholars and with a gentle push we are ready to do our part to get all others interested or at least enlightened as much as they are ready to take it all in. Your impact or example should not be underestimated.
